    Keys unworking
    I'm not sure I have the same model. Console says 4500s. I'm sure it has the same problem, keys staying silent, and not being able to open the unit. I would love to find a service manual. Any hope?

    I have the owner's manual for the 3000s/4500s/5500s/5600s. I guess they're very similar. I'd be happy to scan and upload this if it's useful to anyone.

    broken base and lost chord
    i've lost the chord that runs from the piano to the wall, and the base to my paino is broken. is there any where that i can order these parts? thanks....

    How to remove hammers?
    Can anybody tell me how to remove the hammers from a Roland RD-500? I have the action out, can see the broken weights -- which I'm told can be easily glued -- but can't figure out how to remove the hammer without breaking it?

    Also, searching for service manual. Any advice appreciated!
