Aquarius™
HALOGEN LAMP WARNING!
This fixture is fitted with halogen lamps which
are highly susceptible to damage if improp-
erly handled. Never touch lamp with bare
fingers as the oil from your hands will shorten
lamp life. Also, never move fixture until lamp
has had ample time to cool. Remember,
lamps are not covered under warranty con-
ditions.
The American DJ Aquarius™ comes with
a 90 day limited warranty. We recom-
mend filing out the warranty registra-
tion card included with your product to
validate your warranty.

Operating Instructions:
This unit has been lamped and tested for quality
at American DJ®. This unit is ready to be plugged
in and hung or set on a flat surface. The aquar-
ius™ is a unique effect similar to the popular oil
lamps such as the American DJ Groove Wheel™,
the difference is that the Aquarius™ uses fiber
optics to project sharp adjustable beams of light.
This unit features a fully focusable lens that is
manually adjusted by turning the lens in a clock-
wise and counter-clockwise direction. Use the
“Effect” and “Color” knobs on the rear of the unit
to control the speed and rotation of the color
wheel and the effect output. The color wheel can
be adjusted from a static fade or a variable rota-
tion. Use the “Effect” and “Color” knobs in con-
junction with each other to create different
effects. For best effect, periodically clean the
front focus lens with a glass cleaner.
Lamp Replacement:
ALways disconnect the main power before
attempting lamp replacement. Do not attempt to
replace the lamp while the fixture is hot. Open
the top cover by unscrewing the thumb screw.
Carefully pull the lamp out and remove the lamp
socket. Be sure to disconnect the lamp by pulling
on the socket housing and not the wires. Replace
the lamp and cover.
Cautions! Remember to always replace with the
exact same type lamp and fuse, unless otherwise
instructed by an authorized American DJ
® techni-
cian.
Caution! Never open this or any other electrical
unit while in use. Be sure not to obstruct the cool-
ing vents and keep this fixture in a well ventilat-
ed area.
