RECORDING MAKES IT ALL COUNT
LS-100 FREQUENCY RESPONSE
CHARACTERISTICS
O
f course, you can hook up the LS-100 with any
microphone you like, but you probably won’t need
to: the built-in high-fidelity mics have been carefully
arranged at a 90-degree angle, precisely housed in sound-
optimised chambers, to let you capture exactly what you
want – from rich, deep tones to glass-shattering high notes.
I
n the end, it’s all about great sound quality. The LS-100 records in
24-bit / 96-kHz linear PCM and has a resistance to sound pressure all the
way up to 140 dB SPL – which means you get crystal-clear results without
distortion, no matter how loud your band plays. It works with a wide range of
PCM (WAV) formats, including BWF and MP3, and a simple click converts
any track to MP3, so you can attach it to an email or burn it quickly onto CD.

MULTI-TRACK
RECORDING
The studio that  ts in your bag – for an entire
bigband or one instrument at a time.
W
ith the pro-standard XLR connection, you can
hook up your LS-100 with any microphone or
mixer – so you can record every session with the perfect
sound. Just plug dynamic or condenser mics, or even
guitars and keyboards, straight into the recorder.
The Phantom Power Supply, which can be set to 48 V or
24 V for each channel, delivers energy to the extensions
that need it, so you get all the sound quality you want,
wherever you want it. With the dual dials, you can adjust
left and right channels independently for any mic input.
Y
ou can edit up to eight tracks
independently in one project,
or simply use Overdubbing without
Multi-track, so you can play along
and record a sound on top of an
existing one, while listening to
what’s already there. Mixing the
volume afterwards means you can
create entire arrangements – and
then hook up a CD drive to the
LS-100 via USB and burn your
tracks on the spot.
IF YOU WANT MORE,
YOU’VE GOT IT.
BRILLIANT
RECORDING.
TIMES EIGHT.
O
verdubbing might be the technology that has changed recording more
than any other – especially for musicians. So we have made sure it works
perfectly on the LS-100. Not just really well – perfectly. We‘ve added Playback
Synchro Recording to make it smooth – it will never feel like everyday work,
even when it is.
