What to do when the keyboard sounds sustain contin...

What to do when the keyboard sounds sustain continuously? When I play, the sound sustains even when I don't press the pedal... It will continue until I turn off the keyboard. It helps for about 1 minute and it does it again. Sometimes the pedal works and at other times it doesn't.
