Stereo Input Channel Controls
CH3/4 & CH5/6 For PYD6070
CH5/6, CH7/8, CH9/10
& CH11/12 For PYD1270
LINE, LEFT & RIGHT
Each stereo input channel comes with two balanced
1/4" (TRS) line level input jacks. The unbalanced
devices can also be connected to this input. If
only the jack marked "LEFT" is used, the channel
operate in mono. The stereo channels are designed
to handle typical line level signals.
EQ (PYD6070)
It is similar to those of the mono channels, except
that the EQ is stereo. It is preferable of using two
mono equalizer when EQ-ing a stereo signal to
avoid the discrepancies occurred oftenly between
left and right setting.
EFX
It is similar to those of the mono channels, except
that the EFX SEND buses are both mono, a mono
sum is first taken from the stereo input before
it is sent to the EFX bus.
BAL
It determines the level of left and right input
signals relative to each other before both signals
are then routed to the MAIN stereo mix bus,
allows you to balance the source in the stereo
image. If a stereo channel is run in mono (only
the left input connected), the balance control acts
as a pan in the normal way.
LEVEL
It determines the level of channel signal in the
MAIN mix bus and provides a clear visual indication
of channel level.
GAIN (PYD1270)
It is an input sensitivity switch which used to
select between +12dB (press on) for studio level
and 0dB (press off) for home-recording level.
