Microphone use
̈ If the SKM 1072-U is used as a hand-held transmitter the sensitivity
should be switched to “LOW”. For outdoor recordings and close-miking
use the MZW 1032 windshield to reduce pop and wind noise.
̈ If you want to wear the SKM 1072-U around your neck, use the supplied SZU
1032 lavalier clip as shown above. Set the sensitivity to “HIGH”.
Fault Finding
Fault Possible cause
No function ̈ flat or weak battery
battery inserted the wrong way round
Acoustic feedback ̈ microphone is too close to the loudspeaker(s)
̈ receiver may not be equipped with HiDyn

(The transmitter and receiver must both have the
same noise reduction system. Receivers with a
different noise reduction system will not only
sound incorrect but also increase susceptibility to
feedback. Make sure that the receiver is fitted
with HiDyn

No transmission though ̈ receiver and transmitter are switched to

Distortion ̈ sensitivity too high, sensitivity switch should be
