Troubleshooting
Remedy
Check power cable connection
and all fuses in-line with the
power outlet. Also check that
tuner is correctly inserted into
cradle.
Check the antenna connection.
Also check to ensure the
antenna cable was not damaged.
Change FM transmitter to
another channel option.
Check audio connection cable
(if used) or check FM
transmitter is on in the menu.
Ensure the unit is not mounted
in direct sunlight or in front of a
heater vent. A few minutes of
operation in a normal human
environment should return the
screen to normal operation.
Possible Cause
Lack of power to unit.
Bad connection to antenna.
FM Transmitter interference.
Audio Cable disconnected or
FM transmitter turned off.
Extreme heat in the vehicle
environment near the unit.
Symptom
America SR04 does not turn on.
Check Antenna Message on
display.
Audio Static and other noise.
No Sound
Sound output but no display
information.
