2.2.12 PROGRAMMING FEATURE BUTTONS
You DX-80 Cordless phone has six programmable Flexible Feature
Buttons. You can store any system feature code on any available
Feature Button for one-button operation. Certain programmed
feature buttons light when activated (DND, Call Forward, DSS/BLF,
etc.), while others such as Call Pick-Up, Background Music, Last
Number Redial, do not.
Features are separated into two distinct categories for programming
onto Flexible Buttons: Directory Numbers or Feature Codes. Note:
Before you begin to program a feature code, you must know the
feature code sequence you want to program to this button. If you do
not know this sequence, first use Feature/Directory Number Lookup
(Section 2.2.13, Looking Up Feature Numbers) to locate the feature
and code you want to program.
1. While the phone is idle, press Func + # + 3. The display
responds as follows.
You are now in Feature Key programming mode.
2. Press the Flexible Feature Button that you want to program.
The current programming displays.
