2. Mix mode
★ In the mix mode, programmed play and random play of the disc in the CD unit and the one in the CD-R unit can be performed as
if the two discs were a single disc.

Load the discs you want to play in the CD and CD-R units.

Press the RELAY MODE button and select “Mix Play”.
• The “MIX” indicator lights.

Press the CD or CD-R unit’s PROG/DIRECT button on the remote control unit to set the program mode.
• The “PROG” indicator lights.

Follow the procedure at “Programmed playback” on Page 21 to program the tracks in the order in which you want to
play them.
• You can program tracks for both the CD and CD-R units by using the CD/CD-R selector switch on the remote control
unit to switch between them.
• Up to 30 tracks can be programmed.

Mix programmed playback starts when the CD or CD-R unit’s play button is pressed.
• The sound is output from the CD/CD-R output jacks.
• To quit the mix mode, press the relay mode button and select “Single Play”.

1. Relay play
★ With the relay play mode it is possible to play the disc in the CD side and the one in the CD-R side, relaying between them.
★ The programmed play and random play modes can be preset for the discs in the CD and CD-R units.

Use the CD or CD-R section repeat 1/ALL button on the remote control unit to turn the repeat mode on or off.
• The 1-track repeat mode cannot be set in the relay mode.
• The relay operation is performed as shown below according to the combination of the relay and repeat modes:
