The safety mechanism is a mechani-
cal device that could fail. Never rely on
this mechanism as an excuse to point
the nailer at yourself or any bystand-
ers. Serious injury may occur.
Point the nailer away from you and
others when connecting the air sup-
ply. The nailer can cycle and dis-
charge a nail when the air supply is
connected. Ignoring this warning may
result in serious personal injury.
