Mezzanine card option
Optional mezzanine cards are classified as Type I mezzanine cards and Type II mezzanine cards. The
server blade supports only Type II mezzanine cards.
Optional mezzanine cards enable network connectivity and provide Fibre Channel support. For
mezzanine card locations, see the system board components (on page 8) .

To install the component:
1.
Power down the server blade (on page 10).
2.
Remove the server blade (on page 11).
3.
Remove the access panel (on page 11).
4.
Remove the mezzanine connector cover.
