Segment 1
Konica Minolta maintains its aggressive stance in the Segment 1 market with the release
of the Di2010 and Di2010f in the fall of 2003 and with the recent introduction of the
bizhub 160/161f in 2005. The bizhub 180 product falls between the bizhub 160/161f
and Di2010 models.
The bizhub 180 series offers up to 11"x17" copying and printing at 18 cpm/ppm
and supports 11"x17" scanning and faxing. In addition, the bizhub 180 is fully modular
in design. This base digital printer/copier system offers standard GDI printing and can
be easily configured to support PCL printing, scanning, faxing and Internet faxing!
TWAIN-compliant scanning is also standard on the bizhub 180. The bizhub 180 also
supports duplexing and an automatic reversing document feeder. These are some
of the many advantages users will find when introduced to the bizhub 180. The bizhub
180 is a competitively priced, high performance multifunction device that offers
a cost-per-copy of less than ONE penny — the perfect solutions for low- to mid-volume
users that require devices that will meet their needs and can grow as their needs grow
at extremely affordable pricing!
In addition, Konica Minolta also provides Segment 1 solutions for those users who do
not require 11"x17" output capabilities or duplexing or who are not ready to jump from
an analog product to an 18 ppm device. The bizhub 160/161f can easily meet the needs
of the small office, small workgroup of home office user, whether they require simply
copying and GDI printing or an all-in-one model that supports PCL printing, copying,
faxing and versatile scanning!

mode, OHP Interleaving and Image Stamping, Konica Minolta offers the Di2010
and Di2010f in Segment 1.
