DP Read Action
Set the operation when a document is scanned from the document processor. The table below shows the
available settings.
NOTE: Cannot be used when set to [On] in Document Guard on page 9-106.
Use the procedure below to set a DP Read Action.
1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press [Common Settings], [ ] and [Next] of Function Defaults. Press [ ] three times and [Change] of DP
Read Action.
3 Select [Speed Priority] or [Quality Priority].
4 Press [OK].
USB Keyboard Type
Set the type of USB keyboard that is connected.
1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press [Common Settings], [ ] and [Change] of USB Keyboard Type.
3 Select [US-English], [US-English with Euro], [French] or [German].
4 Press [OK].

Speed Priority Priority given to scanning speed.
Quality Priority Priority given to image quality.
