Press the > key. Each time the or key is pressed, the display
changes as shown below.

The following example explains how to activate TCP/IP protocol to
connect the printer in the network. You can select Netware or
EtherTalk in a similar manner.
If TCP/IP is currently Off is displayed, select On using the or
key. Press the ENTER key again.

Set this item to On when you connect to a
network using NetWare. In submenu (>),
frame mode can be selected from Auto,
Ethernet, 802.2, 802.3, and 802.3 SNAP.
Set this item to On when you connect to a
network using TCP/IP. Submenu (>) has
items including DHCP, IP address, subnet
mask address, and gateway address.
When the item is set to On, the printer prints
out a network status page when it prints the
printer status. See page 1-19
Range
EtherTalk must be activated (On) for
networking with Macintosh computers.
