
Do not use the exible-tip thermometer for oral temperature
measurements on babies.
If the thermometer has been used rectally or in the armpit without
hygienic covers, do not use it for oral measurement anymore for
hygienic reasons, not even after cleaning.

Both the soother thermometer and the digital exible-tip thermometer
have a memory function. When the soother thermometer and the digital
exible-tip thermometer are switched on, the display automatically shows
the last measured temperature for approx. 2 seconds. The display then
shows the normal body temperature of 37°C.
Both the soother thermometer and the digital, exible-tip thermometer
have a long-life battery which should last for about 2 to 3 years. If the
display shows a battery symbol, the battery is low. Replace the battery of
the exible-tip thermometer (see chapter ‘Replacing the battery’).
