CONNECTING POWER
You can power your karaoke with:
• 6 C batteries
• AC power
Installing Batteries
You can power the karaoke with 6 C
batteries (not supplied). For the best
performance, we recommend alkaline
batteries, such as RadioShack Cat.

Follow these steps to install the batter-
ies.
1. Set
POWER
to
OFF
.
2. Press down on the battery com-
partment cover and slide it in the
direction of the arrows to remove
it.
3. Install the batteries as indicated
by the polarity symbols (+ and –)
marked inside the compartment.
Caution:
Always use fresh batter-
ies of the required size and type.
4. Replace the cover.
If you are operating the karaoke using
battery power and the power indicator
dims, replace the batteries.
Cautions:
• To avoid damage from leaking
batteries, remove the batteries if
you do not plan to use them in the
karaoke for a week or more.
• Always dispose of old batteries
promptly and properly.
