The set comprises the following componentes:

(1) Handgrip/powering module K 30 AV
Together with a microphone module (e. g. ME 80) it forms a complete
microphone. The K 30 AV represents the supply part which deliveres the
voltage necessary for the microphone module. At the same time itserves
as a microphone handle. More information may be found in the enclosed
User's Guide K 30 AV.
(2) Microphone module ME 80
Microphone module with pronounced directional characteristic (super-
chardioid/lobe). A complete directional microphone is formed simply by
screwing together with the handgrip/powering module K30AV. Additional
information is given in User's Guide K 30 AV.
(3) Camera adapter MZQ 30
Forfixing handgrip/powering modules onto cameras which are equipped
with aflash mount. Also suitable for tripod mounting via the thread insert
3/8" to 1/., (see enclosed instruction manual).
(4) Wind shield MZW 415
Suitable for microphone module ME 80. Effectively suppresses wind and
pop noises. Indispensible for outdoor recordings and close-miking.
(5) Recess tor connecting cables
This recess can accommodate microphone connecting cable MZK 30 AV,
MZK 802 or MZK 802-1. Wiring details and a description of this cable are
to be found on page 27 of the enclosed User's Guide K 30 AV.
(6) Recess tor microphone module ME 20
Should you decide to expand the microphone module system, this recess
can accommodate microphone module ME 20. This module has an
omnidirectional characteristic, i. e. it receives sound from all directions
equally. The ME 20 is designed for use primarily in recording
commentaries, discussions etc. Further information may be found in
User's Guide K 30 AV.
(7) Recess tor microphone module ME 40
This module features a pronounced directional characteristic (super-
cardioid) and is suitable for use as a reporting or interview microphone in
noisy surroundings (see User's Guide K 30 AV).
(8) Recess tor clip-on microphone MKE 40-3
Incases where the microphone must be as unobstrusive as possible, the
clip-on microphone MKE 40-3 is an advantage. Like all modules it is
powered from the K 30 AV.lt is supplied with a 3 m long connecting cable,
atthe end of which is an special coupling for connecting to the
handgrip/powering module. The microphone has cardioid directional
pattern and is suitable as a "moderator" microphone for recordings in
noise-filled surroundings.
(9) Recess tor wind shield MZW 201
This recess is intended for the pop and wind shield MZW 201. The
MZW 201 effects high wind-damping and is suitable for microphone
module ME 40.
