Do not turn on the power to the sound module with the hi-hat
in the closed position; this may cause faulty operation. Make

How to Adjust the VH Offset
Adjust until you are satisfied with the correspondence
between the hi-hat’s opening and closing action and
the change in tone.
If the closed hi-hat sound is difficult to attain, rotate
the VH offset adjustment screw towards “CLOSE.”
If the open hi-hat sound is difficult to attain, rotate the
screw towards “OPEN.”
If the sound cuts off when you strike the hi-hat
forcefully, rotate the VH offset adjustment screw
towards “OPEN.”
