Troubleshooting
The sound is weak. The attenuation level on the
transmitter is too high.
The input level of the transmitter
is low. Press the – button on the
transmitter in attenuation level
setting mode to decrease the
attenuation level.
The volume on the amplifier
or mixer is low.
Adjust the volume.
The line input is selected on
the transmitter.

Select the microphone input on
the transmitter.
There is distortion
in the sound.
The attenuation level of the
transmitter is too low.
The input level of the tuner is
extremely high. Press the + button
on the transmitter in attenuation
level setting mode to raise the
attenuation level.
The transmitter and the tuner
are set to different channels.
Set the transmitter to the same
channel.
Headphones with a monaural
mini jack is used.

Use the headphones with a
stereo mini jack.
The line output signal is input
to the transmitter when the
MIC/LINE input selector (or
INPUT selector) is set to MIC
position.

Set the MIC/LINE input selector
(or INPUT selector) to LINE
position.
There is sound
interruption or
noise.
The transmitter and the tuner
are set to different channels.
Set the transmitter to the same
channel as the tuner.
Two or more transmitters are
set to the same channel.
Set each transmitter to a different
channel.
The transmitters are not set
to the channels within the
same channel group.
The channel plan which the UWP
series components use is set so
that no signal interference occurs
when 2 or more transmitters are
used simultaneously. Set each
transmitter to a different channel
within the same channel group.
Two or more UWP series
packages are operated at
close channels.
Select channels within the
same channel group (except
channel group 00).
Use the channels at least 2-
channel intervals (250 kHz).
