3 Preparation
Things to be done for energy saving
Following information will help you use the
productinanecologicalandenergy-efficient
manner.
• Operatetheproductinthehighest
capacityallowedbytheprogrammeyou
haveselected,butdonotoverload;see,
"Programmeandconsumptiontable".
• Alwaysfollowtheinstructionsonthe
detergent packaging.
• Washslightlysoiledlaundryatlow
temperatures.
• Usefasterprogrammesforsmallquantities
of lightly soiled laundry.
• Donotuseprewashandhightemperatures
for laundry that is not heavily soiled or
stained.
• Ifyouplantodryyourlaundryina
dryer, select the highest spin speed
recommended during washing process.
• Donotusedetergentinexcessofthe
amount recommended on the detergent
package.
Sorting the laundry
• Sortlaundryaccordingtotypeoffabric,
colour,anddegreeofsoilingandallowable
water temperature.
• Alwaysobeytheinstructionsgivenonthe
garment tags.
Preparing laundry for washing
• Laundryitemswithmetalattachments
suchas,underwiredbras,beltbucklesor
metalbuttonswilldamagethemachine.
Remove the metal pieces or wash the
clothesbyputtingtheminalaundrybagor
pillow case.
• Takeoutallsubstancesinthepockets
such as coins, pens and paper clips, and
turnpocketsinsideoutandbrush.Such
objectsmaydamagetheproductorcause
noiseproblem.
• Putsmallsizeclothessuchasinfant's
socksandnylonstockingsinalaundrybag
or pillow case.
• Placecurtainsinwithoutcompressing
them. Remove curtain attachment items.
• Fastenzippers,sewloosebuttonsand
mend rips and tears.
• Wash“machinewashable”or“hand
washable”labeledproductsonlywithan
appropriate programme.
• Donotwashcoloursandwhitestogether.
New,darkcolouredcottonsreleasealotof
dye. Wash them separately.
• Toughstainsmustbetreatedproperly
beforewashing.Ifunsure,checkwithadry
cleaner.
• Useonlydyes/colourchangersand
limescaleremoverssuitableformachine
wash. Always follow the instructions on the
package.
• Washtrousersanddelicatelaundryturned
inside out.
• KeeplaundryitemsmadeofAngora
woolinthefreezerforafewhoursbefore
washing. This will reduce pilling.
• Laundrythataresubjectedtomaterials
such as flour, lime dust, milk powder, etc.

Correct load capacity

Loading the laundry
• Opentheloadingdoor.
• Placelaundryitemslooselyintothe
machine.
• Pushtheloadingdoortocloseuntilyou
hearalockingsound.Ensurethatnoitems
are caught in the door.

programme is running. The door can only

Detergent Drawer
The detergent drawer is composed of three
compartments:
-(I)forprewash
-(II)formainwash
–(III)forsoftener

softener compartment.
