Installing Novell NetWare 6.0
Prepare the Installation
Please refer to the Chapter 1 "Preparing the HP Server tc2120 for NOS Installation"
for our recommendations on server preparation. Then gather the following materials:
• HP Server tc2120 Startup CD
• Novell NetWare 6.0 CD-ROM
• Novell NetWare 6.0 licensing/cryptographic diskette
• Two or more clients for testing purpose (Optional)
• One diskette for driver installation
High Level Process Flow
1. Run HP DiagTools (optional – diagnostics)
2. Create the drivers diskette using the hp Startup CD.
3. Perform NetWare installation.
4. Install additional HP accessories.
Section 1. Run HP DiagTools (Optional)
To perform HP DiagTools hardware diagnostic on your HP Server tc2120, switch off
your HP server then reboot with the Startup CD and follow the on-screen
instructions. View and save the hardware inventory after the test.
