Port Plug»lorsque l’arrièrede l’enceinte risqued’être exposé

Pour installerle bouchon«Power Port Plug»,dévissez simplement
les quatrevis du«Power Port» etretirez lecouvercle du «Power
Port». Placezle bouchon«Power Port Plug»sur l’évent,replacez
le couverclesur l’évent,puis replacez etrevissez lesquatre

Mostspeaker wirehas someindicator ( colorcode, ribbing,orprint-
ing)on oneof thetwo connectorsto helpyou maintainconsistency .
Ifyour speakerssound “thin,”with littlebassand littleor nocenter
image,chances areone ofyour speakerwiresis connectedback-
wards.Double-check allconnections. Makecertain thatthetwo
barewire endsdo nottouch eachother.Such contactcould result
inan electricalshort andcause yourreceiveror amplifierto turn
offor malfunction.

Retirez12 mm(1/2 po)d’isolation dechacundes deuxconducteurs
pourexposer lesbrins métalliques.Tordezles brinsde chaquecon-
ducteurdénudés pourformer deuxtorons nonéraillés àchaque
extrémité.Connectez lesdeux conducteursd’une extrémitéaux
bornesde votreampli/récepteur (consultezle manueldel’utilisateur
devotre appareilpour vousaider àfairela connexionappropriée).
Connectezles deuxconducteurs del’autre extrémitéauxbornes
desenceintes.
Notezqu'une desbornes àl’arrière del’enceinteest rouge(+) et
l'autrenoire (-).Assurez-vous debien raccorderlefil provenantde la
bornerouge (+)de votreamplificateur/récepteur àlaborne rouge(+)

SEALING THE CABINET WITH THE
POWER PORT PLUG
The PowerPort bassvent on theAtrium60 isan enhanced design
vent. Itincludes aFlared “Umbrella” Diffuserfor nominal(not
complete) waterproofingand aspecial Bugscreen Protectorfor
keeping littlecritters outof the cabinet.The optional(included!)
Power PortPlug sealsthe cabinet completely,creating a military
spec waterproofcabinet, butwith somewhat reducedbass
response. Whenusing theAtrium60 in coveredoutdoor locations,
under eavesor withincovered porch areas,the uniqueFlared
“Umbrella” Diffuserof thePower Port ventprovides adequate
waterproofing. Usethe PowerPort Plug forunprotected installa-
tion situationswhere theback of thespeaker mayget wet.
To installthe Power PortPlug, simply unscrewthe four Power
Port screwsand remove theport plate. Placethe Power PortPlug
securely overthe port, andreinstall the portplate by returning
the fourscrews to theiroriginal positions [figure16].
