Using a Memory Card
The following shows how the lamps indicate the error type when an error occurs due to data transfer failure or
some other reason.
Error Indicators
Lamps Error Type Cause Action
No Card
1.The memory card is
not loaded correctly
in the Digital Piano’s
memory card slot.
1.Correctly load the
memory card into the
memory card slot.
2.The memory card
was removed while
some operation was
in progress.
2.Do not remove the
memory card while
any operation is in
progress.
No File
1.There is no
MUSICDAT folder
(page E-23) on the
memory card.
1.Create a MUSICDAT
folder on the memory
card or format the
memory card on the
Digital Piano (page
E-22).
2.There is no loadable
or playable file in the
MUSICDAT folder.
2.Move the file you
want to load or play
into the memory
card’s MUSICDAT
folder.
No Data
You are attempting to
save data to a memory
card when there is no
data to save.
Record something
before performing a
save operation.
Protect
The memory card is
write-protected.
Use the memory card’s
write protect switch to
enable writing.
ReadOnly
A read-only file with
the same name you are
trying to use is already
stored on the memory
card.
Use a different name
to save the new file.
Remove the read-
only attribute from
the existing file and
overwrite it with the
new file.
•Use a different
memory card.
MediaFull
1.There is not enough
room available on the
memory card.
1.Delete some of the
files on the memory
card to make room
for new data (page
E-24), or use a
different card.
2.There is not enough
room available in
Digital Piano
memory.
2.Delete some or all
user data from
Digital Piano
memory to make
room for new data.
