Contacting Hewlett-Packard
This section details what to do if you have a problem with your power
meter.
If you have a problem with your power meter, first refer to the section
“Before calling Hewlett-Packard”, on page 2-57. This chapter contains a
checklist that will help identify some of the most common problems.
If you wish to contact Hewlett-Packard about any aspect of the power
meter, from service problems to ordering information, refer to “Sales and
Service Offices”, on page 2-60.
If you wish to return the power meter to Hewlett-Packard refer to
“Returning Your Power Meter for Service”, on page 2-63.
Before calling Hewlett-Packard
Before calling Hewlett-Packard or returning the power meter for service,
please make the checks listed in “Check the Basics”, on page 2-58. If you
still have a problem, please read the warranty printed at the front of this
guide. If your power meter is covered by a separate maintenance
agreement, please be familiar with the terms.
Hewlett-Packard offers several maintenance plans to service your power
meter after warranty expiration. Call your HP Sales and Service Center
for full details.
If the power meter becomes faulty and you wish to return the faulty
instrument, follow the description on how to return the faulty instrument
in the section “Sales and Service Offices”, on page 2-60.
