Rack Installation Procedures
This manual describes the procedure to convert an SC5000 chassis from the pedestal configuration
to the rack configuration. It supplements the Intel
®
SC5000 Server Chassis Subassembly Product
Guide (744708-003).
In the following procedures, chassis directions (top, bottom, left, right) refer to a chassis in rack
orientation when you are facing the front of the chassis. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at
the beginning of this manual.
