Step 9: Installing the Trip Finger
A. Remove the hardware securing the original Trip
Finger to the Micarta Trip Bar.
B. Using the original hardware, mount the new
Trip Finger provided to the Micarta Trip Bar,
located as shown. Care should be taken not to
strip the threads in the Micarta Trip Bar.
Step 10: Mounting the DTA Reset Mechanism
NOTE: Loc-Tite
®
242 should be applied to the
threads of all hardware used to assemble and
mount the DTA Reset Mechanism.
A. Remove and scrap the bolt from the left edge
of the Breaker Cross Bar.
B.
For Kits Supplied With An Auxiliary Switch
Only
. Using the .190-32 × .500" screws, lock
washers, and flat washers provided, mount
the Auxiliary Switch Operator to the Reset
Sub-assembly as shown.
C. Using the .375-16 × 1.50" bolt, lock washer,
and flat washer provided, mount the Reset
Sub-assembly to the Breaker Cross Bar as
shown.
