Registering and Creating
Materials
Clicking the button of the operation guide
displays the “Add Content” screen set. It consists only of
the “Content Management” window.
Materials to be played on the players should be registered
or created in the “Content Management” window.
See “Content Management window” on page 34 for
details on each part of the “Content Management”
window.
Procedure for registering or creating materials varies,
depending on the type.
Registering a Video, Graphics,
Flash, or Audio File
To use video, graphics, Flash, or audio content, register the
files created using other programs.
To register files using a drag & drop operation
You can register more than one file, even if they are
different types, simultaneously, as the VSPA-D7 software
manages them using their file name extensions.
Refer to the Specification document for details on the file
types that can be registered in the system. To see the
document, select [Help] > [Specifications] from the menu
bar of the VSPA-D7 main window.
1
Open a Windows Explorer window, and locate the
files to be registered.
2
Select the files to be registered.
To select more than one file, hold down the Ctrl key,
and click the desired files.
To select all files in a range, hold down the Shift key,
then click the first and last files in the range.
3
Move the selection to the “Content Management”
window using a drag & drop operation.
The dropped files are classified by types, copied to the
VSPA-D7 database folders, and displayed in the
“Content Management” window.
To register files using a button on the toolbar
1
Select the tab of the desired type of material in the
“Content Management” window.
For example, select the “Graphics” tab to register still
images.
2
Click the button on the toolbar.
A window used for registration according to the type
of material appears.
3
Specify the file(s) to be registered, then click [Open].
The selected file(s) is/are copied to the VSPA-D7
database folder, and displayed in the “Content
Management” window.
Upon registering files, the file names will be the titles of
the registered material. To modify the title, use the
button on the toolbar, or right-click the piece of material
and select [Edit Type and Title] on the popup menu.
