Connection to a computer
USB terminal
Before connecting a computer to this unit, perform the settings
as shown in ”Computer OS settings” (vpage13).
n Compatible computers
• Computers running the following computer OS versions can be
connected to this unit.
• Windows XP SP3 or later (32 Bit only)
• Windows Vista SP2 or later (32 or 64 Bit)
• Windows 7 (32 or 64 Bit)
• Mac OSX 10.6.4 or later
Computers running other OS versions may not be compatible
with the USB MIDI. For this reason, such computers may function
abnormally after connecting by USB to this unit.
• This unit operates correctly with Mac OS 10.6.4. Using with Mac
OS 10.6.3 or earlier versions may result in unstable sound output
from this unit. Also, this unit operates using a CoreAudio standard
audio driver. Be sure to use application software that is guaranteed
to operate with this driver.

When an external effects processor is
connected to the EFX SEND and EFX
RTN terminals, set the SELECT switch
to ”B”.
NOTE
The input and output volume levels are different for the input
mode (SELECT) settings (A or B). Set the correct level to match the
connected device.
Connecting the power cord
Insert the plug into the AC outlet.
NOTE
Insert the plug fully and securely into the socket. Incomplete
connection to the power supply may cause damage to the unit, or
noise.
