Chapter 5 Applying Various Effects to the Sound
The AT-90S/80S/60S allows you to apply various effects to the sounds you
play from the keyboard.
Adding Harmony to a Melody
(Harmony Intelligence) (AT-90S)
Harmony appropriate for the chord you play in the lower keyboard can be
added to the highest note played in the upper keyboard. This function is
called “Harmony Intelligence.”
When you press any of the Harmony Intelligence buttons, the voice most
suitable for the selected harmony intelligence will be selected automatically.

1. Press one of the Harmony Intelligence buttons (indicator
lights).
Each time you press the button, the indicator will alternate between ON (lit)
and OFF.
The name of the selected Harmony Intelligence will be displayed for several
seconds in the screen.

There are 24 different Harmony types. The manner in which notes will
sound also depends on the Harmony type.
