Panel operation after replacing the fuser unit
7. Pull out the tension release
piece (orange colored), if fit-
ted, provided on the left and
right side of fuser unit.
8. Close and support the back
cover until it locks into place.
Power the printer back on.
1. Ensure that “Ready” is displayed
on the LCD.
2. Press MENU key. Press the NEXT
key until the “System Menu”
appears.
3. Press the SELECT key. Press the
NEXT key until “Reset Fuser Life”
appears.
4. Press the SELECT key to reset the
fuser life.
5. Press the START/STOP key to
return to “Ready” status.
