The lower two digits of the display show the second step, and the
upper two digits show "EE" which indicates the end of the song. In
this condition, you can select the pattern for the second step. If you
wish to return to the previous step, hold down the [REPEAT/STEP]
key and press the [VALUE -] key.
A new step is inserted before the currently selected step, and
subsequent steps are shifted one count up.
The currently selected step is deleted, and subsequent steps are
shifted one count down.

Creating Songs (Song Mode)

Repeat steps 4 - 5 to create the entire song.
One song can have up to 99 steps (00 - 98) for patterns. To change a
pattern selection, hold down the [REPEAT/STEP] key and use the
[VALUE -] key to return to the previous step.

You can move back and forth in the step numbers by holding down the
[SONG] key and using the [VALUE +/-] keys.

To insert a pattern before the currently selected step, press the [INSERT/COPY]
key and perform step 4.

When wishing to hear the currently selected pattern, you can use
the [PLAY] and [STOP/EXIT] keys to play it. While a pattern is
playing, you can also switch the step number back and forth to
check the patterns in other steps.
HINTHINT
The [REC] key LED goes out, and song recording stops. The song
position returns to step 1.
