Troubleshooting
No sound or
very low volume.
Check the following items first if there seems to be a problem with the RT-123.
Is supplied AC adapter connected
properly?
Connect AC adapter as described in
"Getting Connected" (page 7). Use only the
supplied AC adapter.
Make connections as described in "Getting
Connected" (page 7).
Try using another cable.
Check the system and make sure that the
volume level is adjusted properly.
Set [VOLUME] control to a suitable
position.
Is [OUTPUT] jack connected
correctly to the playback system?
Is there a problem with the shielded
cable?
Is the connected playback system
operating normally?
Is volume of RT-123 set correctly?
Sound is distorted or
intermittent.
Is output level of RT-123 set too
high?
Set [VOLUME] control of RT-123 to a
suitable position.
Song cannot be
recorded.
Is RT-123 set to mode other than
song mode?
Activate song mode (page 34).
Delete unneeded patterns and songs.
Is memory capacity limit reached?
