The neck is pre-finished and is ready to install.
To attach the neck to the guitar body:
1. Place the neck into the neck pocket (Figure
9). If the neck does not fit into the pocket,
lightly sand the high points on the neck until
it fits.
2. Place the neckplate over the neck pocket
holes and thread four #7 x 1
3
⁄4" silver screws
(Figure 10) through the guitar into the neck.
DO NOT use glue, since you may want to
remove the neck for maintenance and tune
-
ups.
