Setting the Main Video Output Channel
The KJ-7808RV allows up to three A/V devices to be connected at one time. There are
two ways to select which A/V channel will be output to the main video outputs: manually or
automatically using the crossfader.
Automatically
To set the KJ-7808RV to automatically switch
video when using the crossfader, press the
VIDEO TOGGLE button so that the X-FADER LED
lights up.
Manually
1. When selecting video manually, make sure
that he X-
FADER LED is not lit. If it is lit, press
the VIDEO TOGGLE button.
2. Press the VIDEO 1 button until the correct AV channel LED is lit.
Setting the AV Monitor Output Channel
The KJ-7808RV has a second video output (MONITOR) that allows you to view the video
from another AV input and cue up songs while a different AV input is set to the main video
output.
1. Press the AV MONITOR button until the correct AV channel LED is lit.
Operations
Using Digital Key Control
Use the Digital Key Controller to obtain the musical key
that matches the natural range of your voice. You can
increase or decrease the original or “NORMAL” note by
6 steps to cover the total musical range of 12 different
keys. The Digital Key Controller indicator displays either
0 for NORMAL key or ± 6 on the DOWN and UP sides.
To step UP or “# (sharp)”, press the right button. To
step DOWN, or “b (flat)”, press the left button. To revert
back to the original key, press the NORMAL button.
- Flat (1/2 step down)
- Natural (Reset to “Normal” key)
- Sharp (1/2 step up)
