Begin recording after selecting a user song number, and the track and part you want to record.

From the MAIN display press the [USER] button, then use
the dial to select the user song number (001–005) you
want to record.

Press the [REC] button.
The [REC] button will light.

Select the recording track.
Press the TRACK button ([1] to [8]) you want to record to while holding
the [TRACK SELECT/MUTE] button.
The selected track will flash in the display.
Recording Procedure
• The FINGER mode will be auto-
matically turned on when you
select the [PATTERN] track for
recording.
• The FINGER mode cannot be
turned on or off once you have
started recording.
NOTE
• If you record to a track that
contains previously-recorded
data the previous data will be
overwritten and lost.
CAUTION
Press and Hold
Track 1 will be
highlighted.
