The IP address does not take effect until you apply your changes by selecting

[2] Apply IP Conﬁguration Changes from the Local Host IP Conﬁguration menu

(step 5 above).

Conﬁguring Trap Clients

Trap clients are the network management stations to which you want the

PathBuilder S330/S310 to send traps. You can specify up to four trap clients. To

conﬁgure trap clients, follow these steps:

1 From the Manage IP Network Conﬁguration menu, select [2] Trap Client

Conﬁguration to display the Trap Client Conﬁguration menu, shown in Figure 39.

2 Select the number corresponding to the trap client you want to conﬁgure.

Figure 40 shows the menu for conﬁguring trap client 1.
