CONTROL SWITCH SETTINGS
You can make the following control switch settings independently for each program.
Press the EXP/CTL button and use value knob 5 to select the effect you want to
control.
SWITCHING EACH EFFECT ON/OFF
NOTE: The CONTROL switch LEDs indicate the on/off status.
USING TAP TEMPO TO SET A PARAMETER
NOTE: The CONTROL switch LED will blink at the tempo you specify.
NOTE: The maximum tap interval is 10 seconds.
EFFECT CONTROL
NOTE: If you haven’t selected an applicable effect, nothing will be controlled.
CONTROLLING ESS
NOTE: ESS TAP1, ESS TAP2, and ESS TRIG will do nothing if the SPEED of the
step effect is set to PEdL.
• “I/ON OFF” External effect insertion on/off
• “P/ON OFF” Pre-effect on/off
• “A/ON OFF” Drive/Amp model on/off
• “M/ON OFF” Modulation effect on/off
• “D/ON OFF” Delay effect on/off
• “R/ON OFF” Reverb effect on/off
• “MOD TAP” Use TAP TEMPO to set the SPEED parameter of the
modulation effect
• “DLY TAP” Use TAP TEMPO to set the TIME parameter of the delay
effect
• “FLN TRIG” LFO START TRIGGER of the CLASSIC FLANGER effect
•“ROT SPD” SPEED SW of the ROTARY effect
• “HOLD DLY” HOLD of the HOLD DELAY effect
• “FREEZ” ON of the FREEZ effect
• “ESS CTL1” Turn ESS on/off
• “ESS CTL2” Turn the effect being controlled by ESS on/off
• “ESS TAP1” Use tap tempo to specify the duration until the next step
• “ESS TAP2” Use tap tempo to specify the length from step 1 until the
last step (if in Alternate mode, the length of one cycle
back to step 1)
• “ESS TRIG” The sequence will begin from step 1
