Getting Connected
Component (Y,Pb,Pr) Video Outputs
What you will need:
• 1 Component (Y, Pb,Pr) cable
• A TV with Component (Y,Pb,Pr) video inputs
1. Connect one end of the Component (Y,Pb,Pr) cable to the Component
(Y,Pb,Pr) jacks on the DVX-668K’s rear panel.
2. Connect the other end of the Component (Y,Pb,Pr) cable to the
Component (Y,
Pb,Pr) inputs on a TV.
NOTE: When using the Component output, the DVX-668K must be set to
the correct video output mode. See “Changing the Video Output Mode” in
the Operations section of this manual for instructions on setting the DVX-
668K to the correct video output Mode.
SCART (Europe)
What you will need:
• 1 SCART cable
• A TV or video monitor with a SCART input
1. Connect one end of the SCART cable to the SCART output on the rear
panel of the DVX-668K.
2. Connect the other end of the SCART cable to a SCART input jack on a TV
or monitor.
