Synchro Start
The Synchro Start feature lets you set recorder playback so that it begins auto-
matically when you play on the keyboard.
To select this feature simply hold
down one of the recorded track
buttons and press [START/STOP].
A “SYNC” indication will appear
on the screen to indicate that the
Clavinova is in Synchro Start
standby, and the first metronome
dot will flash in time with the current tempo setting.
Function of Left Pedal
You can set the left pedal so that it functions as a second [START/STOP]
button. This makes it possible for you to use your foot to start and stop playback
and recording, so that your hand does not have jump from the panel to the
keyboard. Left-pedal operation is selected by function F9; see page 33 for
details.
