Convenient Functions
You can change the parts shown in the notation screen, and how the
notation is displayed.
1.
Press the [ (Notation)] button one or more times to
display a screen like the following.

You can set the HPi-6S so that while the Notation screen is being
displayed, a screen like that above continues to appear even if
you press the [ ] button.

Press the [ ] button; the <Notation Menu> is displayed.

Press the cursor button to select <Notation Options>,
then press the [ ] button.
A screen like the one below appears.

The Notation Options screen has four pages. Switch among the
pages in the screen by pressing the cursor left or right
button.

The note name (C, D, E) will
be displayed.
Do, Re, Mi
(Fixed)
The pitch names (fixed Do)
are displayed.

The syllable names (movable
Do) are displayed.

Bouncing Ball
Sets whether or not the animation of the ball
bouncing in time with the tempo is to be displayed
when song data is played back.

Color Notation
Sets whether or not the note currently being played
appears in color in the notation when song data is
played back.
When set to <On>, notes in the right-hand part
appear in red, while the notes in the left-hand part
are displayed in green.
