4 Installation
4.1 Mounting
The TAC Xenta controllers and I/O modules are designed for
mounting on a DIN rail inside a cabinet. They can also be mounted
directly on a wall. In such cases, a wide range of standard enclosures
are available which meet DIN 43 880, with different enclosure ratings.
The enclosure mainly consists of a terminal part containing screw
terminals, as well as an electronics part, where the printed circuit
boards are situated. The enclosure is designed so that electrical
installation can be carried out using the screw terminals of the terminal
part, when mounted on a DIN rail or wall.
