3. This is the minimum value that the parameter will change to. The number three icon is indicating that you must press the number three
button to access the minimum value parameter. You can then rotate the Data Wheel to change the minimum value.
4. This is the maximum value that the parameter will change to. The number four icon is indicating that you must press the number four
button to access the maximum value parameter. You can then rotate the Data Wheel to change the maximum value.
There are parenthesis in between the words Min and Max. These parenthesis will show the current value as it changes in real time.
5. There are 19 pages of parameter control assignments that can be made. Each assignment is represented as one page. Using the Next and
Previous Page buttons will allow you to view, change, or delete all assignments within the currently selected Program.
Tuner
The RP21D includes a chromatic Tuner with an adjust able tuning reference, and drop tunings. Access to the Tuner is accomplished by
pressing and holding the Bank Down Switch. Once in the Tuner mode, the Display will look something like this:
The Display is now telling you four things about the Tuner.
1. This is where the name of the note played will register. The question marks are an indication that no note is being played.
2. This is the Tuning reference. The number three icon is indicating that you must press the number three button in order to access the
Tuning reference. You can then rotate the Data Wheel to change the Tuning reference. The Tuning reference can be adjusted from A=427 to
A=453 which equals 50 cents above and below the standard A=440 reference. Below the A=427 reference, you will also find drop Tunings.
The available choices are A=G#, A=G, and A=F#.
3. This is the Output Level while you are in the Tuner mode. The number 4 icon is indicating that you must press the number four button in
order to access the Output Level parameter. You can then rotate the Data Wheel to change the Tuners Output Level
4. This bar will light as an indication of how close you are to the note indicated in the Display. When only the center box and the arrow
above the center box are lit, you are in tune. Boxes to the right of the center box indicate that you are sharp and need to tune down. Boxes
to the left of the center box indicate that you are flat and need to tune up.
Press any Footswitch to exit the tuner mode.
