4. Connect the pedal cord(5) to the connector on
the underside of the pedal unit.
5. Run the cord along the groove on the underside
of the pedal unit as illustrated below. Be sure that
the cord is oriented correctly. Push the cord into
the groove so that it is fixed in place.
6. Connect the pedal cord to the connector on the
underside of the piano. Connect the power cord
to the AC IN connector on the underside of the
piano.
Be sure that connectors are oriented correctly
when making connections.

7. Attach the cord holders(4), and then secure the
pedal cord into the holders.

Checking the Finished
Assembly
Are any parts left over?
If any parts are left, refer to the assembly diagram to
see where they should go, and then assemble them
into place.
Be sure that all screws and fasteners are tight.
Maintenance, Transport, and
Disassembly
Periodically check the assembled stand, and
obser ve the f ollowing precautions.
Periodically check all screws and fasteners.
Scre ws and fastener s ma y loosen with time .
Periodicall y chec k to confirm that no scre ws or
fastener s are loose . If the stand seems to shake
more than usual, c hec k scre ws and fastener s
immediatel y and tighten as necessar y.
To move the piano…
Remo ve the piano fr om the stand, then mo ve
the piano and the stand separatel y. Then
remount the piano and fasten it bac k into place
as described in the assemb ly instructions.
Disassembling the stand
You can disassemb le the stand b y reversing the
assemb ly sequence . After taking the stand
apar t, store the scre ws, fastener s, and other
parts carefull y so that the y do not g et lost.
When disconnecting the connectors…
Be sure to press on the latc h when
disconnecting the cor d, as illustrated belo w.
Don’t tug or pull on the cor d. Excessive f orce
may cause the connector or soc ket to break.

A note about the pedal unit…
Please be a ware that keeping the pedal unit
fixed in the same place on the floor for an
extended period of time ma y leave a depression
or mark on the flooring (depending on the
flooring material).
