1. PEDAL jack
The connection cable from the pedal pod (included) plugs into this socket.
2. SPEAKER jack (NC-500 only)
The connection cable from the speakers in the NC-500 stand plugs in here.
3. AC IN connector
The AC power cord (included) connects here. (

4. SPEAKER switch (NC-500 only)
Switches the NC-500's internal speakers on or off.
5. OUTPUT jacks
These jacks can be used to send the sound of the NC-500/NC-300 to external amplified
speakers or an external audio device. Make the connections using standard mono cables
(1/4" plugs). (

6. INPUT jack (NC-500 only)
You can use this jack to play the sound from a CD player, audio device, or electronic
instrument through the NC-500 speakers and headphones. This jack accepts a stereo
miniplug cable. (

7. MIDI jacks
Use these jacks to connect to external MIDI devices such as synthesizers, sequencers, and
rhythm machines. (

MIDI IN Receives MIDI information. Connect this jack to the MIDI OUT jack of
the device that you will use to control the piano.
MIDI OUT Sends MIDI information. Connect this jack to the MIDI IN jack of the
device that you wish to control from the NC-500/NC-300.
8. USB connector (NC-500 only)
Connect the piano to your computer using a USB cable, for sending or receiving data. (
