Troubleshooting
When play the lower part of the keyboard, the
bass voice is heard
The [Bass To Lower] button (p. 23) is pressed.
When the [Bass To Lower] button is switched on (lit), the
bass voice is played as the root of chords played in the
Lower part.
Bass voice not playing
The [Bass To Lower] button’s indicator is unlit.
Press the [Bass To Lower] button so its indicator is
lighted.
When playing the same sound in the Upper part
and Lower part, the volume is different
On one of the parts, “Initial Touch” is turned ON (p. 63).
The volume levels of the parts are different.
Adjust the volume balance of each part (p. 24).
Lower part of the keyboard cannot be heard
The Lower part will not produce sound while an Intro or
Ending is being played.
The sound is not played correctly
If you layer the same type of sound, or play an octave-
shifted organ sound, the timing at which you play a note
or the phase relationship between the two sounds may
affect the way in which the sounds are heard, but this is
not a malfunction.
Can’t play the demo songs
A floppy disk is inserted in the disk drive.
In order to play the demo song, you must remove the
floppy disk from the disk drive (p. 41).
The volume level of the instrument connected to AT-
5 is too low
Could you be using a connection cable that contains a
resistor?
Use a connection cable that does not contain a resistor.
