Changing the Moving Key

Stopping the Keyboard
Movement
Although you can have the keys of the RG-7’s keyboard
move in correspondence with songs as they are played back,
you can also temporarily stop the movement of the
keyboard.
1.
Press the [Moving Key] button so the indicator goes
out.
Now the keyboard will not move in correspondence
with the song being played back.
Making Detailed Settings
You can set the master tuning, temperament, and other
settings that make the RG-7 easier to play.
The screen in which the settings are changed is called the
“Function screen.”
How to Enter Function Mode
1.
Press the [Function] (Exit) button, getting its indicator
to light.
The following screen appears.

Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +)
button to select the settings screen.
3.
Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +)
button so the value of the parameter you want to
change is flashing.
4.
Press the [ ] (Value -) button or [ ] (Value +)
button to change the value.
Press the [ ] (Value -) and [ ] (Value +) buttons
simultaneously to restore the factory-set values.
If you want to continue making changes to other settings,
press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +) button
to switch the settings screen.
How to Exit Function Mode
1.
Press the [Function] (Exit) button so the indicator goes
out.

The keys play along with the performance.
Indicator off
The keys do not move.
You can assign the “Moving Key” function to the remote
control’s [FUNC 1] button or [FUNC 2] button and use
the remote control buttons to switch the Moving Key
function on and off (p. 35).
