Chapter 6. Changing Various Settings
Changing the Functions of the
Remote Control’s Buttons
You can change the functions assigned to the remote
control’s buttons.
You can use the Memory Backup function to store these
settings to the RG-7 (p. 72).
1.
Press the [Function] (Exit) button, getting its indicator
to light.
2.
Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +)
button to display the REMOTE screen.
3.
Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +)
button so that the value for the remote control’s button
whose function you want to change is flashing.
4.
Press the [ ] (Value -) button or [ ] (Value +)
button to switch the function assigned to the remote
control’s buttons.

Press the [Function] (Exit) button so the indicator goes
out.

Transpose
Transposes the key of the song being
played.
Press the TRANSPOSE [-] button to lower
the key; press the TRANSPOSE [+] button
to raise the key.
Bwd/Fwd
Fast forwards and rewinds the song.
When TEMPO [-] is pressed, the song
rewinds; when TEMPO [+] is pressed, the
song is fast forwarded.
CD Volume
Changing the volume of the Song on CDs
(p. 91).
Press the TEMPO [-] button to decrease
the volume, and press the TEMPO [+]
button to increase the volume.
CD Sync
This adjusts the timing of the piano
accompaniment during playback of
Player Piano CDs (p. 91).
When TEMPO [-] is pressed, the piano
sound is played earlier; when TEMPO [+]
is pressed, the piano sound is played later.

Switches Moving Key on and off.
Random
Plays back the songs in random order.
Equalizer
Switches the equalizer on and off (p. 60).
Minus One
Switches the minus one function on and
off (p. 93).
