Marks can be set when the transport is
stopped, during playback, and even during
recording by simply pressing the INSERT
key. When using the LIVE WRITER, the maxi-
mum number of usable marks is 98, and the
interval between these marks must be at
least 4 seconds.

With the transport stopped, press the TRIM
key and use the JOG/DATA dial to adjust the
positions of the marks so that all intervals
between them are more than 4 seconds.
You can also use the INSERT key to set new
marks at appropriate positions. The maxi-
mum number of usable marks is 98 when
using the LIVE WRITER.

is too short when using the COPY FROM-
>TO function for track editing, so the function
cannot be executed.
Set the time between the FROM and TO
points to 0.5 seconds or more.
The FROM and TO points can be set by
pressing their respective keys while holding
down the LOCATE key.
