! Lower side brush and start up.
For optimum cleaning effect, match
the driving speed to suit the actual
conditions.
Regularly clean-down the filter and
empty the swept material container
during operation.
Adjusting r.p.m. of side brush
! A clockwise turn reduces the r.p.m.
of the side brush.
! A counterclockwise turn increases
the r.p.m. of the side brush.
Sweeping a moist or wet surface
! Turn off dust pick-up.
! Lower the main brush and begin
operation.
! Lower side brush and start up.
Run the machine
! Set throttle lever to "hare" symbol.
! Release parking brake.
Drive forwards
! Depress right-hand drive pedal.
Sweeper travelling speed can be
infinitely regulated.
Avoid jerky motions of the
accelerator.
The hydraulic system can be
damaged.
Drive backwards
! Depress left-hand drive pedal.
Avoid jerky braking due to using the
accelerator against the direction of
travel.
The hydraulic system can be
damaged.
Note:
Reduce the pressure on the drive
pedal slightly if there is a power loss
on slopes.
This improves the climbing ability of
the machine.
Braking
Unit comes to a stop after releasing
the accelerator and will stop on
surfaces without an incline.
Use of coarse-dirt flap
When the coarse-dirt flap is open, the
main brush can hurl stones or stone
chips forwards.
Be careful that no persons, animals,
or objects are endangered.
! Depress pedal, the coarse-dirt flap
opens.
! Drive over coarse dirt at slow
speed.
Note:
The coarse dirt flap must be raised
briefly for sweeping larger objects of
up to 70 mm in height, such as drink
cans.
