! Open cap.
! Top-up with hydraulic oil.
♦ Oil types: See "Technical Data".
! Close cap.
! Check the hydraulic oil level.
! Tilt the seat back.
Checking and topping up cooling
water
! Open unit cover.
♦ The cooling water level must be
between the "min." and "max."
marks.
♦ Top up with cooling water if the
cooling water level is below the
"min." mark.
♦ Do not fill up beyond "max.".
! Open cap
! Top up cooling water up to the
"max." mark.
! Close cap.
! Close unit cover.
Checking cooler hose and hose
clamps
! Open unit cover.
! Check whether the hose clamps
are loose, retighten, if necessary.
! Check cooler hose and hose
clamps for damage.
Note:
• If a cooler hose or a hose clamp is
damaged the concerned part must
be immediately repaired or
replaced.
! Close unit cover.
Check the air cleaner
! Open unit cover.
! Open quick-acting clamp.
! Take off the lid.
! Take out filter cartridge.
! Use a new filter cartridge.
! Place on the sealing cover.
! Fasten cap with quick-action clamp.
! Close unit cover.
Check and re-adjust V-belt
The engine takes approx. 3...4 s to
run down after being shut off.
Never enter operating area during
this period!
! Open unit cover.
• In the middle between the
crankshaft and the alternator the V-
belt must yield by approx. 7-9 mm
at a pressure of 100 N (weight of
10 kg).
! Unscrew screws at the alternator.
! Adjust alternator so that the V-belt
has the required tension.
! Retighten the screws at the
alternator.
! Close unit cover.
